Endlich fand ich ein paar Tage Zeit für einen neuen Kurzfilm. Sobald ich jedoch zum Stift griff und ein Drehbuch verfassen wollte, wusste ich nicht weiter. Ich kramte dann alte Filmaufnahmen heraus, die längst mal in Aktion treten sollten und ließ sie zu einer Geschichte werden. Was fehlte, musste neu gefilmt werden. Ich bin kein großer Fan von aufwendigen Produktionen, wäre hier auch vollkommen überfordert und greife lieber spontan zur Kamera, wenn der Moment stimmt, wenn er „echt“ ist. Ich bin improvisativ. Ich liebe persönlich nahe und emotionale Filme, anstatt Perfektionismus. Es geht mir weder um verbale, ausdrucksstarke Dialoge noch um HD-taugliche Schönheitsideale. Es geht mir um Emotionen, die durch die Bilder geschaffen werden. Ein wenig langsam, zugegeben, kann es manchmal vorwärts gehen, da die Arbeit erst im Tun entsteht und auch die Ideen zum Teil erst im Tun kommen. Aber egal was ich versucht habe, es ist mein Arbeitsweg und mit diesem entstand der dramatische Kurzfilm „My Love“.

Finally, I finished another short-film. Whenever I tried to write a skript, I had no ideas, so I caught some of my old shots, developing a short story out of them. The few parts I was missing were shot from scratch few days ago. I am no fan of extensive productions, I rather like to take my camera and capture right and genuine moments. I like to improvise, I’m not looking for perfection. I thrive to make films led by the personal and emotional touch. My creative process reminds some viewers of origami: you can only understand the outcome as a full once it’s all done. That’s the way how the dramatic short-film „My Love“ was created.
